Noisy Deadlines

lessons

As I worked through my New Year planning and reflected on the past year, revisiting my private journal entries, these lessons stood out to me:

  • Listen to my body; adjust instead of pushing.
  • Consistency matters more than intensity or perfection.
  • Routines beat tools; resetting beats reinventing.
  • The tools I already enjoy are enough (yes, Nirvana, I’m looking at you!).
  • Daily journaling brings me emotional stability. Typing works for me.
  • Joy (music, reading, movement) is restorative, not optional.
  • Movement should support me, not punish me.
  • I don’t need to optimize everything to live well.
  • Letting go is healthy and allowed.
  • Experiences matter more than systems.
  • Steadiness and simplicity win in the long run.

🎉 Happy 2026 !!! 🤗
