Lessons learned from 2025
As I worked through my New Year planning and reflected on the past year, revisiting my private journal entries, these lessons stood out to me:
- Listen to my body; adjust instead of pushing.
- Consistency matters more than intensity or perfection.
- Routines beat tools; resetting beats reinventing.
- The tools I already enjoy are enough (yes, Nirvana, I’m looking at you!).
- Daily journaling brings me emotional stability. Typing works for me.
- Joy (music, reading, movement) is restorative, not optional.
- Movement should support me, not punish me.
- I don’t need to optimize everything to live well.
- Letting go is healthy and allowed.
- Experiences matter more than systems.
- Steadiness and simplicity win in the long run.
🎉 Happy 2026 !!! 🤗
